Q: You know who’s hysterical? Me! How do I get to perform in The Hysterical Festival?
A: The Hysterical Festival is curated by our producing committee, and lineups will be announced in the months leading up to the event. We are scouting the professional comedy community for amazing female performers in the genres of standup, sketch, character work, solo performance, burlesque, music and film. For more information email hystericalfestival@gmail.com.
Q: Will you be holding auditions for Festival talent? Seriously, I’m the next Tina Fey.
We will not be holding an open call for talent prior to the Festival–but check the site regularly, as there will be open mic opportunities and other chances to be Hysterical.

The Hysterical Festival is a celebration of fearless female humor launching in New York City in Fall 2008. Showcasing the wide range of ways in which women are hilarious, we aim to both entertain and break new ground for women in the comedic arts.
